The aim of Gestalt therapy is to develop better awareness of how we live our lives, recognise we have the ability to make choices in life, and how we sometimes stop ourselves from living in a more fulfilling way. I am interested in what is working for you as well aswhat is not working – and how we can best work towards making the changes you feel are necessary in your life.
The word ‘Gestalt’ means ‘whole’ or ‘complete’ and Gestalt therapy is a holistic humanistic form of therapy incorporating mind and body as one; the physical, psychological, intellectual, emotional, interpersonal and the spiritual.
A Gestalt therapy session offers a supportive, creative and confidential space where issues, concerns and feelings can be explored and worked through by exploring current relationships and situations, and issues, sometime looking at the blueprint of our pasts. |
